​My Role





I left my role as Administrator in February 2021. 
My Administrative role over the past 11 years had varied, whilst maintaining the original ethos of support and organisational management.

ADMINISTRATION
  • Provide administrative support to the Trustees' Board, including event booking, Minutes taking and Policies
  • Prepare and circulate Agendas, take Minutes of meetings, including AGMs and Team Meetings, as well as Board Meetings.
  • Proofread Reports before circulation and/or publication.
  • Provide administrative support to all staff.

​EVENTS AND TRAINING
  • Undertake all Event bookings for Network Meetings, Training, and Conferences, including placement on Eventbrite and registration administration.
  • Ensure adaptations are in place to support event 'accessibility'.
  • Attend Events as a representative of KVA.
  • Maintain and update the VC Connect Database.
  • Create regular (bi-annual) statistics and data.

COMMUNICATION
  • Maintain and update the KVA website.
  • Answer calls and emails and refer appropriately.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Input data accurately and methodically.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with a wide range of people.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
