It is based in Oxford, United Kingdom.  Predominantly known for its bi-monthly independent magazine, it describes itself as existing to "cover stories the mainstream media sidestep and provide alternative perspectives on today's global critical issues." It covers social and environmental issues through its magazine, books and digital platforms.

The Patients' Forum Ambulance Services - London - monitors LAS and other ambulance and emergency services across London. Its members are local people who examine services both as users and active lay people.  It obtains the information it needs to monitor health services from the LAS, the Commissioners and NHS services across London.  The Patients' Forum for the London Ambulance Service monitor all London Ambulance Service activities.

​Patient and Public Involvement Panel (PPIP) Member
Members of the PPI Panel have an opportunity to meet and discuss opinions on, and involvement in, the work of the Academy and to contribute feedback on all aspects of its work.  Members also assist with the training of cohorts of student Paramedics and propose and monitor improvements to the Paramedic Programme.

​SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY FOR MS CIC (SAMSCIC)

Director/Secretary
SAMSCIC provides support, advice and advocacy services to anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  It is the only advice and advocacy service in the country specialising in this disability, and gives attention to those in need.  It is a non-profit-making social enterprise, operated solely by volunteers and commissioned annually by local MS Groups.




FRIENDS OF SURBITON AND TOLWORTH HEALTH COMMUNITY

The Friends Committee is formed by volunteers and provide support for patients, carers and staff wherever they are located.  The Friends attend public meetings and put forward views and comments appropriate for the future of the health service in the area.  It also considers all requests for help from Mental Health Services and the Older People's Services around Kingston, Tolworth and Surbiton community.
